About the Builder

I build corvettes that read as places first and ships second. The Naiad is a body of water given hull plates. The Ferryman's Whisper is a small temple with engines. I want you to feel like you've walked into something, not just docked at it.

My builds lean hybrid — most of the hull comes from Blender for the curves, then I finish in-game where the placement-by-hand has texture you can't get otherwise. Every ship has a moment where I stop and ask what it would feel like to stand inside, and only then keep building.

Mythic references run through almost everything I make. NMS lends itself to that — the in-game universe already feels half-mystical. I'm just trying to build the shrines the universe is missing.

Currently working on: a corvette themed on Charon itself, paired to the Ferryman's Whisper. Klapen's been a good sport about the homage.

Inspired By
Greek mythology, particularly the chthonic side — Charon, Hades, the rivers of the underworld. Plus the architectural soundscapes of Annihilation and the slow camera work in Arrival.
Favorite Space Universe
The Dune Imperium era. Spacing Guild Heighliners, Ixian engines, the way the books treat technology as half-religion. NMS lets me build the smaller chapels that universe doesn't show on screen.
