The Cartographer is built for the player who's compiling a real galactic atlas. Central holo-table that holds the map. Dorsal telescope blister that retracts under a shroud when not in use. Two stations on the bridge — pilot and cartographer, separate jobs at the same console.
It's hybrid-built: the curved hull profile is shaped in Blender, the instrument racks and interior detailing are placed in-game where the texture of hand-placement matters more than the precision. Most of the build is volume given over to survey work, not cargo.
VoidArchitect built this for himself first. Most of the work he does on his personal save involves charting systems no one else has visited; The Cartographer is the ship he found himself wishing he was flying.
The holo-table at the center reads any waypoint, beacon, or marker the pilot has placed. It's not a game mechanic the ship gives you — it's a piece of furniture sized for the actual atlas you've been keeping.
Cross-Platform Safe band. The hybrid build was tuned to render cleanly on current-gen consoles; PC, PS5, and Xbox Series all verified.
Click Order This Corvette and the Ferryman dispatches immediately. A short in-flight checklist appears — friend-code the bot, set multiplayer to "Anyone," be at one of the three handshake spots (a Space Station, the Anomaly, or your Freighter), and park your starter corvette nearby. Hit Ready when you're in position. The bot joins your session within seconds and builds the corvette live in front of you. Total time is typically about a minute.
If the Ferryman is busy with another delivery or offline for a moment, you'll see a quick retry timer instead — no queue, no waiting list. Click Retry when prompted.
Reminder: save your game once delivery completes. Until you save, the corvette exists only in your session and will not persist.
