The Hegemon is Klapen's signature roleplay build. The bridge sits at the back, behind a long ceremonial approach corridor. Amidships is a small audience hall with seating for visiting players. The courier bay aft is functional — this is the parent vessel for The Ferryman's Whisper.
Most of the interior detailing exists for narrative reasons, not mechanical ones. The build is meant to be lived in as a character, not optimized as a ship.
The Hegemon was the original ship Klapen built when starting Charon — a personal vessel meant to embody the role he'd play as the project's founder. Most of his early design instincts about Charon's brand came from living in this build.
The Ferryman's Whisper, by Helios, is its courier — that ship was designed and gifted explicitly as the small ferry The Hegemon would dispatch.

Click Order This Corvette and the Ferryman dispatches immediately. A short in-flight checklist appears — friend-code the bot, set multiplayer to "Anyone," be at one of the three handshake spots (a Space Station, the Anomaly, or your Freighter), and park your starter corvette nearby. Hit Ready when you're in position. The bot joins your session within seconds and builds the corvette live in front of you. Total time is typically about a minute.
If the Ferryman is busy with another delivery or offline for a moment, you'll see a quick retry timer instead — no queue, no waiting list. Click Retry when prompted.
Reminder: save your game once delivery completes. Until you save, the corvette exists only in your session and will not persist.
