The Long Quiet is a generational ship. Hydroponics that scale, an atrium amidships, a memorial deck where the names of past crew can be inscribed by the next. VoidArchitect built this after losing access to a save he'd been exploring on for two years.
It's the largest ship in his catalog and not, by design, the most efficient. The point is that the journey continues after any individual stops crewing it.
The Long Quiet was originally named in journal entries before the public reveal. VoidArchitect refers to the years between his original save loss and this build as 'the long quiet' — what you do with a void before you decide to fill it again.
Every Long Quiet that's been delivered has shipped with one small empty plaque on the memorial deck. The bot does not engrave it. That's the pilot's job.
Modern Hardware band. Generational scale; the atrium may exceed Switch's performance envelope. Builder-verified on PC and PS5.
Click Order This Corvette and the Ferryman dispatches immediately. A short in-flight checklist appears — friend-code the bot, set multiplayer to "Anyone," be at one of the three handshake spots (a Space Station, the Anomaly, or your Freighter), and park your starter corvette nearby. Hit Ready when you're in position. The bot joins your session within seconds and builds the corvette live in front of you. Total time is typically about a minute.
If the Ferryman is busy with another delivery or offline for a moment, you'll see a quick retry timer instead — no queue, no waiting list. Click Retry when prompted.
Reminder: save your game once delivery completes. Until you save, the corvette exists only in your session and will not persist.
