The Astraeus is a long-range exploration corvette built for solo and small-crew journeys to the edge of mapped space. Twin command decks allow continuous travel; the lower hold doubles as a hydroponics bay so the ship can sustain itself for months between resupply.
Designed around silence and self-sufficiency rather than firepower. Light shielding, no military-grade weaponry, generous internal volume for personal and crew quarters. This is not a warship — it is a home that moves.
The Astraeus took its name from the titan of stars who walks the edges of the universe. The original was lost in the Eissentam outer reaches in the year known to surface dwellers as the long Quiet. What returned to known space wore the same name but answered to no captain. Some say the ship learned. Others say a ship cannot learn, but a long enough silence can.
Builders who have replicated the Astraeus design report finding small things in the cargo hold that they did not place there. Crystals. Coordinates. Once, a single seed.
Modern Hardware band (2,501–7,000 parts). Renders well on PC and current-gen consoles; older platforms may stutter on the atrium. Builder-verified on PC and PS5.
Click Order This Corvette and the Ferryman dispatches immediately. A short in-flight checklist appears — friend-code the bot, set multiplayer to "Anyone," be at one of the three handshake spots (a Space Station, the Anomaly, or your Freighter), and park your starter corvette nearby. Hit Ready when you're in position. The bot joins your session within seconds and builds the corvette live in front of you. Total time is typically about a minute.
If the Ferryman is busy with another delivery or offline for a moment, you'll see a quick retry timer instead — no queue, no waiting list. Click Retry when prompted.
Reminder: save your game once delivery completes. Until you save, the corvette exists only in your session and will not persist.
